Soccer Game Preview: Frontier vs. Centennial

The Frontier Titans will square off against the Centennial Golden Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Frontier's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for eight straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Frontier managed to keep up with Highland until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Frontier came up short against Highland, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 548th, while the Scots are ranked 194th).

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Centennial was forced to settle for a draw. They and Stockdale finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Tuesday.

Centennial's goal came courtesy of Kaylee Broome, who's now up to three this season.

With that draw, Centennial's record moves to 6-9-1. As for Frontier, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8-2.
