Soccer Game Preview: Prosper vs. Allen

Prosper will face off against Allen at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Prosper's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Prosper had taken Plano down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Monday. The Eagles fell 2-0 to the Wildcats.

Meanwhile, Allen's game on Monday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Princeton. Given Allen's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked seventh, while Princeton are ranked 87th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Prosper now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Allen, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-1-1.

Prosper skirted past Allen 1-0 in their previous matchup back in March of 2025. Will Prosper repeat their success, or does Allen has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
