Baseball Recap: LaGrange Comes Up Short

LaGrange lost to Whitewater on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Grangers fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 3-2. That's two games in a row now that the Grangers have lost by just one run.

This is the second loss in a row for LaGrange and nudges their season record down to 4-8. Even worse, they were so close both times: the losses came by an average of only one runs. As for Whitewater, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-6.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. LaGrange will take on rival Spalding at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Whitewater is set to challenge their familiar foe Sandy Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
