Basketball Recap: Orange Glen Comes Up Short

Orange Glen lost against Rock Academy back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Orange Glen Patriots lost 44-23 to the Rock Academy Warriors.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rock Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brooke Rodrigues, who went 7 of 11 on her way to 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nevaeha Noguera, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds.

Orange Glen's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Rock Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Orange Glen will host Southwest SD at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Southwest SD's defense has only allowed 29.8 points per game this season, so Orange Glen's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Rock Academy, they will square off against O'Farrell Charter at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
