Basketball Game Preview: Golden West Trailblazers vs. Redwood Rangers

Golden West hasn't had much luck against Redwood recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Golden West Trailblazers will be playing at home against the Redwood Rangers at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Golden West is headed into Wednesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Thursday. They took a 38-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of Porterville.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Aniyah Venegas, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 boards. That was a full 53.6% of Golden West's points, marking the 18th time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylee Dominguez, who had seven points.

Meanwhile, Redwood took a blow against Frontier on Saturday, falling 61-32. The Rangers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Golden West's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Redwood, their loss dropped their record down to 10-9.
