High school football: Each state's highest winning point total

By Kevin Askeland Dec 3, 2021, 12:30pm

Inglewood scored 106 points in a game this year, but Santa Rosa has the most points in a single game in California with 141.

Earlier this year, Inglewood scored 106 points in a win, but that wasn't the most points ever scored in a high school game in California. According to the Cal-Hi Sports Record Book, that honor goes to Santa Rosa, which scored 141 points against St. Helena in 1924.

Santa Rosa joins 46 other schools in the country who scored over 100 points in setting a state record for most points in a single game. Alaska, Delaware and New Hampshire are believed to be the only states in the country that have never had a school scored 100 points in a game.

Following are the all-time highest winning scores for each state.
Justyn Martin led Inglewood to a 106-point total this season, but it's still 25 points from being a California state record.
