Soccer Game Preview: Windsor Forest vs. Long County

The Windsor Forest Knights will face off against the Long County Blue Tide at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Windsor Forest fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Calvary Day on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Cavaliers by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, Long County fell victim to Islands and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Sharks, falling 6-0.

Windsor Forest now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Long County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season.

Everything went Windsor Forest's way against Long County when the teams last played back in February of 2019, as Windsor Forest made off with a 4-1 win. Will Windsor Forest repeat their success, or does Long County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
