Basketball Game Preview: Clearfield Bison vs. Blackhawk Cougars

Clearfield's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Sonny Diehl, who shot 61% from the field to rack up 24 points along with eight boards and four steals. Thanks to that strong game, Diehl now owns an excellent 45.3% field goal percentage. Another player making a difference was Eve Helsel, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten rebounds.

Meanwhile, Blackhawk was fully in charge on Saturday, breezing past Franklin 58-16. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Clearfield better keep an eye on Aubree Hupp. She was instrumental in Blackhawk's win, almost dropping a triple-double with 23 points, nine boards, and 44 steals. Hupp's big performance that afternoon made it 32 games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alivia Rabick, who posted six points in addition to seven rebounds and seven steals.
