Basketball Preview: Susquehannock Warriors vs. South Western Mustangs
The Susquehannock Warriors will venture away from home to square off against the South Western Mustangs at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. South Western took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Susquehannock, who comes in off a win.
Susquehannock will bounce into Monday's match after beating Eastern York, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Susquehannock strolled past Eastern York with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 48-32.
Elena Snyder was her usual excellent self, going 5 of 11 on her way to 15 points and six assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Annie Laubach, who posted eight points.
Meanwhile, South Western came up short against Red Lion last Friday and fell 58-48. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 88th, while the Lions are ranked 17th).
