Soccer Game Preview: Sutter vs. Dixon

Sutter is 0-4 against Dixon since January of 2018 but things could change on Wednesday. The Sutter Huskies will take on the Dixon Rams at 6:00 p.m.

Sutter is headed into the game having not lost since January 13 and will look to keep things rolling. They and Casa Roble finished up on equal footing with a 3-3 draw on Monday. While a more conclusive result would've been nice, the Huskies got plenty of practice considering the match was the highest-scoring draw the team's played all season.

Meanwhile, Dixon entered their tilt with Rio Linda on Monday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over the Knights. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by three goals or more this season.

Dixon has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those seven games. Sutter's draw gives them a new season record of 10-5-5.

Sutter came up short against Dixon in their previous meeting back in January, falling 2-0. Can Sutter avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
