Central hadn't done well against Richland recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Dragons came out on top against the Rams by a score of 50-43. This was payback for the Dragons, who suffered a 50-37 loss the last time these two teams met.

Despite the defeat, Richland had strong showings from Leyna Roman, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and ten boards, and Trinity Macey, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds. The Rams are 2-1 when Roman posts eight or more boards, but 1-5 otherwise. Rebecca Fetchko was another key player, putting up six points in addition to seven assists and five steals.

Central's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Richland, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Central has already played their next matchup, a 58-47 loss against Bellwood-Antis on the 7th. As for Richland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 66-19 defeat against Westmont Hilltop on the 5th.
