There's no place like home for Thomas Jefferson Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against the Covenant Academy Rams by a score of 7-4 on Thursday. The Jaguars haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Kasen Smith was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Tre Moore, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-4. As for Covenant Academy, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Thomas Jefferson Academy beat Covenant Academy by a score of 7-3 on Friday.
