San Jacinto hasn't lost a match since January 15th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the West Valley Mustangs, sneaking past 2-1. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 193rd, while the Mustangs are ranked 924th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

San Jacinto's victory bumped their record up to 10-2-4. As for West Valley, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12-2 record this season.
