Merced is 7-0 against Livingston since December of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The two teams will round out the year against one another at at 7:00 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Thursday, Merced came up short against Mountain House and fell 49-39.

Meanwhile, Livingston entered their matchup against Ceres on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Livingston came up short against Ceres, falling 40-19. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 711th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 251st).

Livingston's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-5. As for Merced, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

Everything went Merced's way against Livingston in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, as Merced made off with a 48-24 win. In that game, Merced amassed a halftime lead of 32-12, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Monday.
