Volleyball Recap: Lakeview Comes Up Short

Lakeview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Nonnewaug Chiefs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chiefs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-14, 25-11.

Lakeview's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Nonnewaug, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.

Coming up, Lakeview will venture away from home to challenge New Fairfield at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Nonnewaug, they will welcome Pomperaug at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
