Deagan Klimek was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in May of 2025. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-5 with two stolen bases and two runs. Fremont is 7-2 when Klimek posts two or more stolen bases, but 8-12 otherwise.

In other batting news, Brayden Crosley was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two triples, and five RBI.
