Baseball Recap: Fremont Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Fremont waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Orchard View Cardinals 10-3. That's more bragging rights for the Packers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Deagan Klimek was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in May of 2025. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-5 with two stolen bases and two runs. Fremont is 7-2 when Klimek posts two or more stolen bases, but 8-12 otherwise.

In other batting news, Brayden Crosley was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two triples, and five RBI. He has become a key player for Fremont: the team is 5-1 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 10-13 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Weston Rottier, who went 2-for-3 with three runs and one stolen base.

Fremont now has a winning record of 15-14. As for Orchard View, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-15-2.

Fremont will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Cardinals: the pair will be back at it again later today.
