Truman's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Chrisman Bears a 10-0 shutout. Considering the Patriots have won four matchups by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Ella Reinhardt, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Adleigh Jeffries, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two runs.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Truman lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Truman's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Chrisman, they moved to 5-4 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Truman will challenge Ruskin at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Chrisman, they are taking a road trip to take on Grain Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
