Pella put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's fifth consecutive shutout on Tuesday. They never let the Gilbert Tigers get on the board and left with a 5-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 1-0 back in June.

Pella is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-12 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.2 runs over those games. As for Gilbert, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-16.

Coming up, Pella will take on Xavier on Monday. The Saints will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Dutch surely won't give up without a fight. Gilbert does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
