Football Recap: Lewis County Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Lewis County's offense. They were dealt a 43-0 defeat at the hands of the Fleming County Panthers on Friday. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Lions were not able to get on the board.

Lewis County's record now sits at 0-6. As for Fleming County, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Looking ahead, Lewis County is taking a road trip to challenge Russell at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Red Devils' defense has only allowed 13.2 points per game this season, so the Lions' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Fleming County, they will challenge East Carter at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Raiders have now posted at least 31 points in their last five matchups.
