Softball Recap: Eugene Comes Up Short

It was a Battle of the Birds when Eugene faced off against Blair Oaks on Thursday. The Eagles fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 10-9. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Eugene's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Blair Oaks, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Eugene will venture away from home to square off against California at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Blair Oaks, they will welcome Iberia at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
