Baseball Game Preview: Brantley County Herons vs. Thomasville Bulldogs

The Brantley County Herons will face off against the Thomasville Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

On Thursday, Brantley County came up short against Charlton County and fell 6-1.

Meanwhile, Thomasville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Brantley County. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by just one run.

Brantley County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Thomasville, their loss dropped their record down to 6-16.

Brantley County came out on top in a nail-biter against Thomasville in their previous meeting on Tuesday, sneaking past 2-1. Will the Herons repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
