Soccer Recap: Sheldon Takes a Loss

Sheldon's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Monterey Trail Mustangs by a score of 1-0. The Huskies just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Sheldon's loss dropped their record down to 3-10-2. As for Monterey Trail, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-6-4.

Sheldon will welcome Elk Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Sheldon is facing Elk Grove at the right time seeing as Elk Grove is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Monterey Trail, they will venture away from home to take on Franklin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Franklin will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Monterey Trail surely won't give up without a fight.
