Baseball Game Preview: Manchester Blue Devils vs. Bowdon Red Devils

Manchester is 1-9 against Bowdon since February of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Blue Devils will host the Red Devils at 5:00 p.m. Manchester has given up an average of 12 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Friday just wasn't the day for Manchester's offense. They lost 15-0 to Trion on Friday.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bowdon). They were the clear victors by a 22-7 margin over Handley on Monday.

Bowdon pushed their record up to 11-16 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.2 runs over those games. As for Manchester, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-15.
