Softball Recap: Walker Comes Up Short

Walker came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 15-1 to the St. Francis Knights. The Wolverines have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Walker saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maya Shah, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Walker now has a losing record of 3-4. As for St. Francis, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Walker will host Marietta at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for St. Francis, they will square off against Holy Innocents Episcopal at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
