Soccer Recap: Homestead Finds Home Pitch Redemption Against Palo Alto

There's no place like home for Homestead, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Palo Alto Vikings on Friday, sneaking past 1-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in January.

Homestead's one-goal win came courtesy of Saara Lahtela, who's now up to 11 this season.

Homestead's victory bumped their record up to 4-6-4. As for Palo Alto, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4-3.

Homestead didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Mountain View on the 5th. Palo Alto has also already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Los Gatos on the 5th.
