Williamson needed a changed in momentum after dropping six straight games and they got it from Kenna Thomas. The Warriors claimed a resounding 42-11 victory over the Sayre Redskins with plenty of help from Thomas, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds. Williamson is 5-1 when Thomas posts ten or more boards, but 1-10 otherwise.
The team also got some help courtesy of Leeann Kessing, who posted two points and five rebounds. She has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times she's played.
Williamson's win bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Sayre, they dropped their record down to 0-14 with the defeat, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Williamson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 57-15 loss against Northeast Bradford on the 31st. As for Sayre, they have also already played their next matchup, a 46-18 defeat against Cowanesque Valley on the 3rd.
