Football Game Preview: Century Panthers vs. Owatonna Huskies

Century hasn't had much luck against Owatonna recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Panthers will challenge the Huskies at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Century turned things around against Winona on Wednesday. They walked away with a 28-20 win over the Winhawks. The Panthers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Owatonna was not the first on the board on Wednesday, but they got there more often. They took down Apple Valley 28-13. The victory continues a trend for the Huskies in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won four in a row.

Century better keep an eye on Tristan Graham*. He was instrumental in Owatonna's win, rushing for 200 yards and three TDs. Those 200 rushing yards gave Graham* a new career-high. Kade Hullopeter was another key player, rushing for 84 yards and one touchdown on only 11 carries.

Century picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-6. As for Owatonna, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Century didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Owatonna in their previous matchup back in September, but they still walked away with a 12-7 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
