Softball Recap: Norfolk Takes a Loss

Norfolk lost against Lincoln Southwest on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Panthers fell 10-5 to the Silver Hawks.

Liberty Nohr made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklyn Branz, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Norfolk's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Lincoln Southwest, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Norfolk is set to face off against their familiar foe Grand Island on Saturday. Meanwhile, Lincoln Southwest will square off against rival Millard West at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
