Football Game Preview: Rogers Royals vs. Eagan Wildcats + Official Tickets

The Rogers Royals will take on the Eagan Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Rogers will be strutting in after a win while Eagan will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Rogers turned things around against Anoka on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Tornadoes 31-28.

Meanwhile, Eagan was beaten by Rosemount 41-7 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota football rankings (they are ranked 183rd, while the Irish are ranked 43rd).

Eagan has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Rogers, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-5.
