Eastchester came into Saturday's contest having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Brewster Bears on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Eastchester's win bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Brewster, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-13-1.

Looking ahead, Eastchester will venture away from home to face off against Rye at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Garnets' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Brewster does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
