Fortuna is 8-1-1 against Del Norte since October of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Huskies will take on the Warriors at 1:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Fortuna took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They put the hurt on South Fork with a sharp 17-1 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Fortuna's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked fourth, while South Fork are ranked 73rd).

Meanwhile, Del Norte waltzed into their match on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Their defense stepped up to hand the Loggers a 3-0 shutout. That's two games straight that Del Norte have won by exactly three goals.

Del Norte's victory bumped their record up to 11-3-1. As for Fortuna, their win bumped their record up to 15-1.

Fortuna skirted past Del Norte 3-2 when the teams last played back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Huskies since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
