Basketball Recap: Science Leadership Academy Comes Up Short

Science Leadership Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were dealt a 47-14 loss at the hands of Carver High School of Engineering & Science. Science Leadership Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-7.

Carver High School of Engineering & Science got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Savannah Hall out in front who posted 19 points. With that strong performance, Hall is now averaging an impressive 15.6 points per game. Isabella Brown was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Science Leadership Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Carver High School of Engineering & Science, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Science Leadership Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off.
