Softball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Bryan County

Bryan County entered their tilt with Liberty County on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 17-6 win. This was payback for the Redskins, who suffered an 11-5 loss the last time these two teams met.

Elizabeth Harvey and Camryn Parker did most of the damage at the plate: Harvey went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI, while Parker went 1-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Those five RBI gave Parker a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Emma Into, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and three runs.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Bryan County kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in five consecutive games.

Bryan County now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Liberty County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.

Bryan County has already played their next matchup, a 21-0 victory against McIntosh County Academy on the 26th. As for Liberty County, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 17-1 win against Islands on the 26th.
