Basketball Game Preview: Heritage Christian Eagles vs. Brownstown Central Braves

The Heritage Christian Eagles will square off against the Brownstown Central Braves at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Heritage Christian comes in on seven and Brownstown Central on nine.

Heritage Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They came out on top against Northeastern by a score of 50-41.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Heritage Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Joslyn Marshall, who went 8-for-12 on her way to 22 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Trinity Taylor, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 17 boards.

Meanwhile, everything went Brownstown Central's way against North Posey on Saturday as Brownstown Central made off with a 46-25 victory. The Braves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 21 points or more this season.

Heritage Christian's record is now 14-12. As for Brownstown Central, their record now sits at 22-5.

Heritage Christian came up short against Brownstown Central in their previous meeting back in February of 2020, falling 54-42. Can Heritage Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
