Wesleyan won the last time they faced Mount Vernon and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wolves skirted past the Mustangs 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolves.

Emma Jane Gillis paced Wesleyan's offense, picking up 12 kills. Gillis got some help from Caroline Stickney and her 20 assists.

Wesleyan's victory bumped their record up to 16-9. As for Mount Vernon, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 14 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-17 record this season.

Wesleyan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against St. Francis on the 23rd. As for Mount Vernon, they will take on Savannah Christian in a tournament on Friday.
