Baseball Recap: Hardin County Comes Up Short

Hardin County was the 9-2 winner over Crab Orchard when they last played one another back in April of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Cougars took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans on Wednesday. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hardin County's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Crab Orchard, their victory bumped their record up to 6-9.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hardin County is set to challenge their familiar foe Norris City-Omaha-Enfield at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Crab Orchard will take on rival Galatia/Thompsonville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
