Northfield entered their tilt with George Washington on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the Patriots. The game was the first time the Nighthawks have beaten the Patriots on their field since August 24, 2020.

Ricki Ramirez was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Audrina Srichabok, who went 1-for-2 with four RBI and two runs.

Northfield always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .654. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as George Washington only posted an OBP of .091.

Northfield's victory bumped their record up to 15-5. As for George Washington, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.
