Baseball Game Preview: Westminster Wildcats vs. Paideia Pythons

The Westminster Wildcats will face off against the Paideia Pythons at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

If Westminster beats Paideia with 13 runs on Friday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. The Wildcats beat The Weber School on Wednesday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 13-8. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Paideia's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They and Southwest DeKalb finished up on equal footing with a 6-6 tie.

Westminster's win bumped their record up to 2-3. Paideia's draw gives them a new season record of 3-0-2.

Everything went Westminster's way against Paideia in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, as Westminster made off with an 8-0 victory. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Pythons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
