Softball Recap: Arnold Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Arnold entered their tilt with Abbeville Christian Academy on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Generals 15-3. The Marlins might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by seven runs or more this season.

Laela Kern was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. Hayley Sexton was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI.

Arnold's record is now 15-8. As for Abbeville Christian Academy, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-14.

Looking ahead, Arnold is taking a road trip to take on Mosley at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Dolphins have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.05 runs per game on average), something the Marlins will no doubt try to take advantage of. Abbeville Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
