Volleyball Recap: Skyline Coyotes vs. Boulder Creek Jaguars
Skyline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 29th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Boulder Creek Jaguars, falling 3-0.
Despite the defeat, Skyline saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Derek Castro had 18 digs.
Skyline's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Boulder Creek, they pushed their record up to 7-8 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Looking ahead, Skyline will venture away from home to square off against Dobson at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Boulder Creek, they will take on Ironwood Ridge in a tournament on Friday. The Nighthawks will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Jaguars surely won't give up without a fight.
