Softball Recap: Allatoona Comes Up Short

Allatoona was the 5-3 winner over Cartersville when they last played one another back in August, but their luck changed this time around. The Buccaneers fell just short of the Hurricanes by a score of 7-6 on Monday. The Buccaneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Allatoona's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Cartersville, their win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Allatoona will take on rival Cass at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Cartersville is set to challenge their familiar foe Hiram at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
