Baseball Recap: Genoa-Kingston Comes Up Short

Genoa-Kingston lost to Lutheran on Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cogs fell just short of the Crusaders by a score of 7-6. The Cogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Genoa-Kingston now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Lutheran, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-12.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Genoa-Kingston will square off against rival North Boone at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lutheran is set to face off against their familiar foe Oregon at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
