Recap: Brookville Raiders vs. Union Knights/Damsels

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Punxsutawney, the Brookville Raiders were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They blew past Union 55-30. That looming 55-30 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Brookville yet this season.

Eden Wonderling continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 30 points and 14 steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kerstyn Davie, who scored 13 points along with two steals.

Despite the defeat, Union saw an underclassman step up: Madalyn Dehart dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. That was a full 36.7% of Union's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.

Union struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Brookville posted 11 assists.

The victory got Brookville back to even at 5-5. As for Union, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Brookville will look to defend their home court on Monday against Johnsonburg at 7:15 p.m. Hopefully Johnsonburg focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 two weeks ago. As for Union, they will head out on the road to face off against Moniteau at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Moniteau presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Union in Pennsylvania (Moniteau is ranked 163rd, while Union is ranked 693rd).
