Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Varnum). They blew past the Bowlegs Bison 21-4 on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Whippets in their matchups with the Bison: they've now won nine in a row.

Varnum's victory bumped their record up to 17-12. As for Bowlegs, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Varnum beat the Bison by a score of 10-0 later that day.
