West Laurens is a perfect 3-0 against Cross Creek since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The West Laurens Raiders will face off against the Cross Creek Razorbacks at 5:30 p.m. West Laurens knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Cross Creek likes a good challenge.

West Laurens is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Appling County just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 16-11 to the Pirates.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Cross Creek's offense. They lost 24-0 to West Laurens on Tuesday. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Razorbacks were not able to get on the board.

West Laurens' defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Cross Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Everything went West Laurens' way against Cross Creek in their previous matchup on Tuesday, as West Laurens made off with a 24-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for West Laurens since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
