Bishop Carroll is a perfect 3-0 against Valley Center since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Golden Eagles will be playing at home against the Hornets. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Bishop Carroll will bounce into Thursday's contest after beating Derby, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. The Golden Eagles snuck past the Panthers with a 24-20 win on Friday. 24 seems to be a good number for the Golden Eagles as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Meanwhile, Valley Center was able to grind out a solid win over Haysville Campus on Friday, taking the game 19-7. The Hornets haven't had any issues with the Colts recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Bishop Carroll better keep an eye on Rylan Bailey. He was instrumental in Valley Center's win, rushing for 165 yards and a pair of scores, while also picking up 33 receiving yards. Those 165 rushing yards gave Bailey a new career-high.

Bishop Carroll's record now sits at 5-3. As for Valley Center, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Bishop Carroll won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in October of 2020, slipping by Valley Center 1-0. Will the Golden Eagles repeat their success, or do the Hornets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
