Recap: Silver Creek vs. Christopher
The Silver Creek Raiders have not lost a match since December 15, 2023, a trend which continued in their latest game on Wednesday. They and Christopher finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. That draw made it three straight for Silver Creek.
Their goal came courtesy of
Natalia Niebles, who's now up to 17 this season.
Silver Creek's draw gives them a new season record of 7-6-6. As for Christopher, they moved theirs to 5-5-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Silver Creek will take on Live Oak at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Live Oak's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Christopher, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Mt. Pleasant at 7:00 p.m. on February 9th. Mt. Pleasant is coming into the game with seven straight defeats on the road, meaning Christopher will have to defend against a team hungry for a win.
