Baseball Recap: Ashland Comes Up Short

Ashland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 5-1 to the Thurston Colts. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Colts this season, with their most recent loss being a 17-4 defeat on Thursday.

Ashland saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colton Hernandez, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Ashland's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Thurston, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-10.

As of now, neither Ashland nor the Colts have any future games scheduled.
