Basketball Recap: Oak Ridge Takes a Loss

Oak Ridge suffered their biggest defeat since January 19, 2024 on Friday. They were beaten by the Folsom Bulldogs 75-43. The loss continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now lost seven in a row.

Oak Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Folsom, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.

Oak Ridge and Folsom should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Oak Ridge (ranked 69th) will meet Granite Bay (ranked 457th) at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Similarly, Folsom will square off against Rocklin at 7:30 p.m. on Monday up 254 places (13 vs. 267).
