Softball Recap: East Marshall Has No Trouble Against Aplington-Parkersburg

East Marshall got themselves on the board against Aplington-Parkersburg on Wednesday, but Aplington-Parkersburg never followed suit. They blew past the Falcons 18-0. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 matchups by six runs or more this season.

East Marshall is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Aplington-Parkersburg, their loss was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-18.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Marshall will venture away from home to take on South Hardin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Aplington-Parkersburg, they will face off against Hudson at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
